Job Summary
Home Building Team Member - Assembler I performs manufacturing production tasks across departments: framing, layout/build floors and walls, rough-in electrical lines and panels, finish prep (tape, mud, texture), roof construction, cabinet/finish carpentry, siding/windows/doors, interior/exterior painting; works in a team to meet safety and quality standards; follows OSHA guidelines; communicates anticipated material shortages and tooling maintenance; may transfer between departments; requires ability to read simple instructions and drawings, use hand tools and tape measure; physically capable of standing, lifting up to 100 pounds, and working in variable weather conditions; overtime may be required.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Construction or Warehouse Experience a plus, but not required
- Versatility and willingness to transfer into various departments
- Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings greatly desired
- Skilled in the operation and control of hand tools
- Flexible to work in a fast paced, changing environment
- Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
