Job Summary
Entry-level assembler role in manufacturing for exterior siding and related home-building production. Responsible for framing, layout, building floors and walls, installing electrical lines, preparing surfaces for finish, roofing, carpentry, siding, windows/doors, painting, and maintaining safe, clean work areas. Works in a team environment to meet quality standards and productivity goals; must read basic drawings, use hand tools, comply with OSHA standards, and be willing to operate across multiple departments as needed. Requires ability to lift up to 100 pounds, pass a drug screen, and be eligible to work in the United States. Overtime may be required. Provides opportunities to learn across departments and contribute to a safety- and quality-focused manufacturing process.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Construction or Warehouse Experience a plus, but not required
- Versatility and willingness to transfer into various departments when necessary
- Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings greatly desired
- Skilled in the operation and control of hand tools (tape measure, hammer, utility knife, etc.)
- Flexible to work in a fast paced, changing environment
- Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
