Job Summary
Entry-level Home Building Team Member – Assembler I with BFS. Performs manufacturing production operations across departments including framing, layout of floors and walls, installing electrical lines and panels, dry-in for finish, roof construction, cabinet/finish carpentry, siding/windows/doors installation, and interior/exterior painting. Works in a team to meet quality standards and productivity goals, adheres to OSHA safety rules, protects company assets, and supports Supervisors/Forepersons in planning/managing manufacturing activities. Requires basic reading of drawings, proficiency with hand tools, ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally, willingness to work overtime, and legal eligibility to work in the US. Pre-employment drug screen required; overtime is involved; continuous exposure to moving parts and varying weather conditions. BFS emphasizes a supportive, team-focused culture with opportunities to gain skills and grow professionally.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings
- Skilled in the operation and control of hand tools (tape measure, hammer, utility knife, etc.)
- Flexible to work in a fast paced, changing environment
