Job Summary
Follow detailed instructions, blueprints, or diagrams to assemble components and products using hand and power tools. Inspect and verify the quality of assembled items to ensure they meet specified standards, while identifying and reporting any defects. Perform painting, finishing, and/or insulating tasks, and adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding workflow coordination and issues. Requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and the ability to read blueprints and operate basic machinery. Located in Tallassee, AL, this hourly non-exempt role offers a starting pay of $18.00/hour with overtime eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy objects up to 50 pounds
- Able to learn how to operate basic machinery (ex. Waterjet)
- Able to paint and work with insulation
- Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, tape measures, diagrams, or assembly instructions
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment
