Job Summary
Assemble electro-mechanical assemblies and repair products by following written directions, drawings, and schematics. Perform manual assembly of electronics, cable, and mechanical components, using hand tools and equipment, and adhere to work instructions. Communicate effectively, solve minor problems, and recognize issues requiring supervisor input. Work under time pressure in a team environment while maintaining safety and quality in line with Microboard MIS (Aegis) software proficiency and OSHA/SDS policies.
Required Qualifications
- Use of simple hand tools
- Ability to maintain inventory of supplies used at the bench
- Depanel scored or routed assemblies per work instructions
- Through Hole insertion
- Assemble hardware with an understanding of torque and thread lock
- No industry experience is required
- Apply adhesives and epoxies according to work instruction (this includes the proper mixing of 2-part adhesives)
- Setup and use of dispensing equipment
- Cable terminations and wire routing
- Router operation for depaneling
- Use of manual and electric press(es)
- Proficiency with and working knowledge of Microboard MIS (Aegis) software is required
