Job Summary
Assemble and inspect cash drawers and related products in a quality-focused environment. Read and interpret work orders, process plans, drawings, and diagrams; perform inspection and testing to meet specifications; use power and hand tools; stand for long periods; lift up to 30 lbs; maintain a clean, safe workstation; learn all workstations, tools, and fixtures; and comply with the quality system. Mentoring and assisting new assembly workers as directed, completing tasks from team leaders or supervisors, and documenting required forms. Strong attention to detail, English communication, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential. The role emphasizes adherence to customer requirements and safety procedures within a manufacturing setting at the Minneapolis site.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- six months in a related field and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- read and interpret work orders, process plans, drawings and diagrams required in the assembly of cash drawers and related products
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to lift 30 lbs consistently
- ability to use power and hand assembly tools
- English language proficiency
- motivated, team player that can also work independently
- mentorship and training responsibilities as requested by team leader, supervisor, or production manager
- maintain clean and safe workstation and report safety concerns
- knowledge of parts by item key part number and by visual identification
- complete forms and documents as required
- follow safety guidelines
- perform other duties as assigned
