Job Summary
Operate equipment to assemble products while recording accurate production and traceability information. Complete equipment set-up and changeover configurations, perform cycle counts, and follow work procedures to ensure product quality. Inspect own work and that of others to reduce defects. Participate in assigned cross-training of processes. This role requires a valid forklift license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds daily, and willingness to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays in a plant environment with exposure to lead and fiberglass.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to do basic math
- Ability to read, write, and understand the local language
- Possess a valid forklift driver's license
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilos on a daily continuous basis
- Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able and willing to wear a respirator
- Must be able and willing to work varying schedules which may include nights, weekends, and public holidays
