Job Summary
Assemble parts according to assembly procedures, process sheets, and relevant documentation in a clean, climate-controlled environment. Operate production equipment on the assembly line, perform basic testing of sub-assemblies, and inspect product quality. Adhere to Universal Quality System policies and procedures while reading, writing, and communicating effectively within a team setting. Perform other duties as required. This 1st shift, Monday-Friday full-time position offers a target hourly pay rate of $17.00 to $18.00 plus robust benefits. Universal Instruments designs advanced automation assembly equipment for applications ranging from consumer electronics to industrial and automotive sectors.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-1 years of relevant experience
- Must be dependable
- Possess an excellent work ethic
- Reads, writes and communicates effectively
- Must be available for 1st Shift - Monday-Friday Full Time position
- Working hours from 7:00amEST - 3:30pmEST
- Frequently required to access and manipulate various objects and tools
- Occasionally move heavy objects of up to 25lbs
