Job Summary
Assemble components for various electronic product lines using engineering drawings and work instructions. Perform printed circuit board (PCB/PWA) assembly and soldering per IPC-610 standards while identifying and resolving solder defects. Test assembled products, troubleshoot functional issues, and use microscopes for detailed inspection over extended periods. Read blueprints and design documentation, select appropriate tools and fixtures, and maintain accurate labor records in SAP. Operate during the 6am–2pm shift at a rate of $19.50 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in electronics or manufacturing assembly
- IPC-610 Certification required
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Printed circuit board (PCB/PWA) assembly
- Electronic soldering techniques
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings and blueprints
- Electronic component identification
- Understanding of quality standards and inspection processes
- Ability to identify solder defects and perform rework as needed
- Proficiency using hand tools and assembly equipment
- Basic computer skills
- Required: High school diploma or GED
- Shift: 6am - 2pm
