Job Summary
Assembler to join the Manufacturing team in Addison, TX. Responsibilities include precise soldering of electronic components onto PCBs, following engineering drawings and assembly instructions, inspecting and testing soldered connections, operating assembly equipment safely, and collaborating with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams. Maintain production records and quality data, adhere to safety and best practices, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience assembling electronic components in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Familiarity with through-hole and surface-mount soldering techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and assembly instructions.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on precision and quality.
- Proficiency using soldering tools, equipment, and inspection instruments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry.
- Technical or vocational training in electronics, manufacturing, or soldering techniques.
- Experience working in aerospace, aviation, electronics, or high-reliability manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with IPC workmanship standards.
- Experience performing visual inspections and functional testing of electronic assemblies.
