Job Summary
Assemble components for various electronic product lines according to engineering drawings and work instructions. Perform printed circuit board (PCB/PWA) assembly and soldering in accordance with IPC-610 standards, using microscopes for detailed inspection tasks. Test assembled products to troubleshoot assembly or functional issues, identifying and resolving defects related to soldering and component placement. Read blueprints and design documentation while selecting appropriate tools and fixtures. Maintain accurate labor and production records in SAP and other manufacturing systems. Follow established procedures, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes. Shift: 6am - 2pm. Pay: $19.50 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in electronics or manufacturing assembly
- IPC-610 Certification required
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Printed circuit board (PCB/PWA) assembly
- Electronic soldering techniques
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings and blueprints
- Electronic component identification
- Understanding of quality standards and inspection processes
- Ability to identify solder defects and perform rework as needed
- Proficiency using hand tools and assembly equipment
- Basic computer skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Shift: 6am - 2pm
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using SAP preferred
