Job Summary
Follow production drawings, work orders, or verbal instructions to assemble electronic components, cable assemblies, and final products. Precisely position and secure parts using soldering, crimping, screwing, or similar techniques, then perform visual inspections and basic testing to ensure units meet quality standards. Rework and repair units as needed, prepare finished products for shipment with accurate accessories and documentation, and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Assist with inventory counts and kit hardware components for production. Work in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment on consistent weekday schedules with access to comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, plus tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good manual dexterity
- Physical ability to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Ability to work quickly, accurately, and with great attention to detail
- Comfortable working with small components and hand tools
- Familiarity with soldering and de-soldering techniques
- Able to read and follow work instructions and production orders
- Willingness to adapt to changes in routine
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
