Job Summary
Assembler duties include directly reporting to the Rework Supervisor, applying specified rework soldering job types on circuit boards, using proper tools/equipment for rework, interpreting Engineering Change Orders via related databases, collaborating with the team on rework and soldering processes, meeting group objectives, conducting in-process and outgoing inspections, and operating in a LEAN production environment. Must possess a vocational Diploma in Electronics or a BS in Industrial Technology (Electronics) with at least 1 year of soldering experience; strong soldering concepts for PCB, SMT, and Through-Hole components; good manual dexterity; experience with machine operations and ESD; proficiency in MS Office and ability to generate/interprete data; and English literacy. Required Qualifications
- Vocational Diploma in Electronics
- BS in Industrial Technology Major in Electronics
- Soldering experience (1+ year)
- Strong soldering concepts for PCB/SMT/Through-Hole
- Good manual dexterity for mechanical assembly and soldering
- Experience with machine operations and ESD awareness
- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio) and basic internet navigation
- Ability to perform in LEAN production environment
- English communication skills (written and spoken)
