Job Summary
Assist in assembling prototypes of next-generation 3D printers, fixtures, and accessory equipment by following specific procedures and verifying material conditions before assembly. Maintain work area cleanliness and ensure accuracy of work-in-process while using hand tools such as pliers, torque wrenches, and screwdrivers. Report any material problems immediately and follow written procedures, verbal instructions, and visual aids. Perform basic mechanical assembly and utilize basic computer skills within a lean team environment. This temporary, full-time role involves lifting 50+ pounds frequently and operates Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. You will directly support the hardware development team in building tools that enable innovation for industry leaders worldwide.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent education
- 1 + years electro-mechanical assembly in the manufacturing industry
- Ability to read assembly procedures and follow visual aids
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Basic mechanical assembly knowledge
- Basic computer skills
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work and communicate effectively in a lean team environment
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds frequently throughout the day
Desired Qualifications
- Technical training
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret mechanical, electrical, and electronic schematic drawings and diagrams
- Fabrication and hand soldering experience
