Job Summary
Assembler position assembling products using hand and power tools according to standard work instructions. Responsibilities include operating rigging and lifting devices safely, reading shop orders and blueprints, performing basic math, documenting work, reporting quality or equipment issues to supervisors, maintaining clean work areas, and working in both individual and team settings. Must act in accordance with company core values and may perform additional duties depending on location and product line. Day shift with weekend coverage; standard safety and 5S practices apply. May require operating forklift, overhead crane, or pallet jack depending on department. Training for JSA completion, forklift operations, PPE usage, crane training, and other safety requirements provided by the company.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- read and understand shop orders and blueprints
- basic math skills (add/sub/mult/div)
- ability to read a tape measure
- ability to use hand tools
- may be required to operate forklift, overhead crane, and electric pallet jack
- certifications/training listed will be provided by company
