Job Summary
Perform product assembly while adhering to safety procedures, Job Safety Analysis, and all documented employee handbook procedures. Maintain quality and quantity of finished products, organize work areas, and ensure good housekeeping standards. Operate overhead cranes, read blueprints, and perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment. Track product data, support continuous improvement initiatives, and provide safety training to others. Cross-train and fill in as needed across departments. Work with limited supervision to ensure safety, quality, and production targets are met.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift to 60 pounds approximately 50% of the time
- Must be able to operate an overhead crane and be certified
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Must have mechanical abilities
- Must have good documentation skills
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of continuous improvement a plus
