Job Summary
Assembler II sought for 1st shift in Milwaukee to assemble meters and registers, perform leak and meter testing, assemble PC boards and related sub-assemblies, operate test equipment and computer systems for documentation, and ensure products meet specifications. Responsibilities include rotating through workstations, following safety guidelines, reading simple assembly drawings and routings, using tools such as arbor press, hand tools, ultrasonic welder, and performing quality checks to meet production goals and customer requirements. Education preference is High School Diploma/GED with 0-1 years of related experience; basic computer literacy, math, and English communication skills are preferred. The role emphasizes safe work habits, teamwork, and adherence to standards in a manufacturing environment with potential lifting up to 60 pounds and the need to pass forklift and hazmat training.
