Job Summary
Perform winding, assembly, and complex wiring to produce complete sub-assemblies and final assembly of control equipment. Work from drawings and engineering specifications to cut, strip, and attach terminals while operating power tools. Route, assemble, and adjust parts to form completed control assemblies, then check electrical and mechanical performance against quality standards. Determine necessary parts, prepare requisitions, and execute engineering changes or repairs as required. Report irregularities or equipment malfunctions to the coach. Requires physical movement throughout the facility, including kneeling, bending, and ladder work.
Required Qualifications

- Candidates must reside within a 50 - mile radius of Arden, NC.
- Active - Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
- Able to lift 35 pounds – waist, shoulder, overhead
- Able to do some lifting, bending, ladder work and other forms of movement.
- Able to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Proven history of safe work habits
- Must be able to work effectively without direct supervision
- Computer skills – Microsoft Office, Internet, etc.
- Must be able to work overtime – weekdays and weekends
