Job Summary

Perform accurate rework, repairs, and modification to support production and NPI hardware. Execute advanced assembly tasks including wire splicing, crimping, lead and lead-free soldering, and component removal on complex assemblies, potentially involving high-power products. Conduct functional testing and make setups and adjustments while holding tolerances to technical specifications such as drawings and schematics. Train others and advise Team and Senior Assemblers on rework and solder applications. Assist with NPI and Engineering projects as needed, constructing developmental assemblies from rough schematics, blueprints, and oral instructions. Work indoors in an environmentally controlled manufacturing environment, adhering to required PPE and safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 4-6 years of direct experience in the essential functions of the position
  • Must be a US Person under ITAR
  • Must pass pre-employment background check
  • Must pass drug test which includes screening for the use of cannabis
  • Must use required PPE
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. as needed, with totes, etc.

Desired Qualifications

  • May be required to obtain AES Rework Certification, PRB Certification, AES Flight Critical Certification, IPC 7711, IPC 7721, AES Inspection Pro, IPC 610 and/or AES Solder Certification
