Job Summary
Assembler role at Ampco Pumps responsible for producing and assembling centrifugal and positive displacement pumps following ISO procedures; reads assembly prints, routers, and specifications to build and assemble parts and pumps. Operates overhead crane and pallet jacks, prepares parts for assembly, and picks and assembles parts to meet customer requirements. Reviews and verifies bill of materials to maintain inventory integrity and collaborates with other departments to ensure timely completion of products.
Required Qualifications
- Must have the ability to read and understand assembly prints, measuring instruments, and other manufacturing instructions.
- Must be familiar with portable hand tools and machine tools such as impacts, torque wrenches, calibers etc.
- Requires good oral and written communication skills in order to interact with employees.
- Requires a good work ethic and mechanically inclined.

- Experience preferred but not required.
