Job Summary
Prepare work by reviewing assembly instructions, blueprints, and bills of materials. Verify and gather required parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials before unpacking chassis and components for production. Assemble systems and subassemblies by ensuring proper fit and securing components according to work instructions. Scan component serial numbers into the manufacturing execution system for tracking and complete required production and quality documentation. Prepare accessories, apply labels, and perform visual inspections prior to packaging finished products according to BOM and shipping requirements. Maintain an ESD-safe work environment, follow 5S principles, and support production schedules by working overtime when required. Assist with production floor audits, cycle counts, and inventory activities while contributing to team objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and understand assembly instructions, production orders and control documentation
- Experience using hand tools and light power tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow procedures and quality standards
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet production deadlines
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Travel to client sites to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and deployment services
Desired Qualifications
- Technical certification or college coursework
- Previous assembly experience in the electronics, computer hardware, or manufacturing industry
