Job Summary
Assemble agricultural equipment components by reading blueprints/schematics, assembling to specifications, and using hand/power tools and cranes. Read and measure to tolerances, operate forklifts as needed, and assist with material handling and final assembly. Maintain a clean, safe workspace per 5S standards; communicate progress and issues with the Assembly Lead and Branch Manager; collaborate with team to meet production obligations and deliver quality products.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years' experience in manufacturing or farm machinery assembly
- 1-3 years' experience operating a forklift
- Be mechanically inclined
- Read and follow a blueprint and tape measure
- Mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication)
- Superior communication skills including active listening
