Job Summary
Install coils, cores, and electrical transformer components according to engineering specifications while manipulating large cables and compressing wires. Read assembly plans, interpret electrical drawings, and perform precise measurements in both metric and imperial systems. Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and rigging equipment to move heavy materials and verify loading dock safety. Cut wood, sand components, and use hand or power tools to prepare materials for assembly stages. Document assembly progress through self-checks, accessory lists, and shipping forms while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and physical exam
- Ability to work at heights when required
- Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and safe operating practices
- Ability to read and understand electrical plans and technical instructions
- Proficiency with metric and imperial measurement systems
- Resourcefulness, initiative, and strong problem-solving skills
- Autonomous, punctual, and able to collaborate effectively with a team
- High attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Desired Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of torch welding
