Assembler - 2nd Shift (Swings) (B2)

Job Summary
Fit up sheet metal parts to assemblies using dedicated fixtures, scribe, and grind to fit. Use resistance spot welder to pre-assemble parts prior to applying braze for oven brazing. Operate hand tools and power tools, including hammers, metal forming dies, pliers, tin snips, and various grinders, to bring parts to customer specifications. Complete required paperwork and checklists while maintaining a high degree of responsibility with an emphasis on safety and quality. This 2nd shift role runs 3:30pm to 1:00am with a 5-4/9 schedule, every other Friday off, and includes a 15% shift differential. Sheet metal fabrication experience is preferred, along with brazing or welding skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Compliance with general attendance standards
- Ability to work in teams of two or three
- Capable of reading and understanding written instructions, procedures, and safety rules
- Willingness and ability to learn and retain new skills
Desired Qualifications
- Sheet metal fabrication experience
- Experience with brazing, resistance welding, or fusion welding of sheet metal
