Job Summary
Perform high-quality and consistent installations and assemblies within your assigned job classification and designated work area while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workstation. Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team. Read and interpret blueprints, process sheets, and written instructions to build components according to specifications, utilizing hand tools, air tools, and measuring equipment to complete precise work. Work in an environment that may include regular exposure to vibration and occasional proximity to moving mechanical equipment. Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and production needs. Maintain a regular work schedule and work overtime as needed to support production schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of line installations, bench components, and assembly processes related to the assigned job classification
- Ability to perform all installations and assemblies required within the designated job classification and work area
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, process sheets, and written instructions, and build components or assemblies according to those specifications
- Proficient with hand tools, air tools, and various other equipment required to complete assigned tasks
- Ability to use measuring tools to complete precise and accurate work
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly (75 lbs. with assistance), perform repetitive movements (bending, kneeling, crouching), and work on elevated surfaces or confined spaces
- Must be able to stand and walk on hard surfaces for extended periods (up to 10+ hours)
- Maintain regular work schedule and work overtime as needed to support production schedules
