Assembler - 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Assemble fabricated parts under general supervision in accordance with established procedures, wiring basic electrical connections and installing accessory components per applicable diagrams. Inspect products to conform to quality, engineering, and customer requirements while operating hand tools including electrical and pneumatic power tools. Perform duties under the Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and KPS Global Code of Conduct, completing electronic paperwork including checklists, stamping, bar coding, and shipping materials. Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards while loading, unloading, and moving materials using lifting equipment. Requires standing and walking on concrete 100% of the work day, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50lbs independently or over 50lbs with assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to stand and walk on concrete up to 100% of the work day
- Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch
- Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs along and over 50lbs with assistance
- Must be able to climb and balance
- Must be able to use hands to reach, handle, and/or feel
- Must be able to visually inspect products
- Must have manual dexterity in hands for tool usage
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Basic ability to read, speak, and understand English
Desired Qualifications
- GED or High School Diploma preferred
