Job Summary
Read instructions, drawings, and cut sheets to assemble products using hand tools like wrenches, screwdrivers, sockets, and hammers. Assemble parts and install sub-assemblies into frameworks, then inspect finished goods to ensure quality standards are met. Perform rework or adjustments as needed and move completed products to the next stage of production. Support team operations with additional duties as assigned. This role requires standing and walking for extended periods, lifting up to 30 lbs occasionally, and working in a manufacturing environment with loud noise levels and dust. Safety glasses and steel-toe shoes are required PPE.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and safety guidelines
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, measurements, tape measure use)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work scheduled hours, including overtime when needed
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Use hands and arms frequently for handling tools and parts
- Perform bending, crouching, and reaching
- Lift up to: 10 lbs regularly
- Lift up to: 20 lbs frequently
- Lift up to: 30 lbs occasionally (with assistance)
- Required PPE: safety glasses and steel-toe shoes
- Hearing protection may be required in certain areas
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous manufacturing or factory experience is a plus
