Job Summary
Fasten or install components to form assemblies or subassemblies using hand tools, inspect and test completed products to verify conformance to customer specifications, and align components for assembly manually. Read and interpret assembly blueprints or specifications manuals to plan operations, assemble systems of gears by aligning and meshing gears in gearboxes, and maintain and lubricate components and tooling. Follow safety, quality, and preventive maintenance procedures while performing heavy lifting and standing. Work independently and well with others on either the 2nd or 3rd shift at Chapter 2, Inc., a full-service manufacturer specializing in high precision machining and product component assembly.
