Job Summary
1st Shift assembly role on a manual manufacturing line assembling passenger rail car parts. Uses pneumatic and hand tools (motorized drill, rivet gun, etc.). Works in a team environment with opportunities to train others, participate in continuous improvement, and ensure quality per work instructions. Maintains organized work areas, adheres to quality, safety, and environmental policies, and supports KPIs. Wage starts at $21.21/hr during training and increases to $22.71/hr after training; benefits include healthcare, 401k, vacation, holidays, parental leave, and potential bonuses. On-site in Watertown, NY; US work authorization required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- experience/knowledge in production environment or equivalent
- basic math skills
- ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics/drawings
- read and comprehend process specification documents
