Job Summary
Assembler 1 is responsible for identifying problems with assemblies and generating Non-Conforming Material Reports, collaborating with Manufacturing Engineering to identify and implement solutions, and supporting Quality Engineering in continuous improvement of assembly and quality management processes. The role supports ISO 9001:2008 internal audits and re-certification efforts, streamlines assembly/integration processes, and provides daily/weekly project status within the work group. Tasks include assembling, testing and boxing products from all product lines produced in the plant. The position requires a High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent) and at least 1 year of manufacturing experience, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work overtime, including weekends and holidays. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution
- Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience
- Ability and willingness to work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required
- Ability and willingness to work in a shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day
- Ability and willingness to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
