Job Summary
Assembler I on first shift responsible for fabricating component parts or assembling the finished product according to customer specifications. Completes work area setup, fits parts together per prescribed instructions and quality standards, operates hand tools, stacks finished products, and ensures the work area is safe, clean, and organized. Maintains production records, conducts pre-shift equipment startup inspections, participates in safety and continuous improvement programs, and performs duties per safety and quality procedures. This role is with UFP Industries and involves manufacturing tasks in Liberty, NC, emphasizing accuracy, safety, and adherence to established procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED preferred but not required
- No minimum experience is required however, 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience is preferred
- Working knowledge of basic math
- Must be at least 18 years of age
