Job Summary
Conduct daily security support for Collateral, SCI, and SAP activities by performing classification reviews, processing classified mail, and maintaining document accountability databases. Manage facility access control through visitor escorts, badge preparation, entry inspections, and data entry into the Personnel Access Security System. Assist with research, filing of visit notices, and preparation of access control badges while enforcing Standard Operating Procedures. Monitor security clearance processing, participate in SAP compliance inspections, and execute Special Access Program nomination questionnaires. Perform data entry and record checks in the Air Force Access Data System, conduct indoctrinations, and provide security awareness education.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years related experience
- Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts towards 3 years of experience
- Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts towards 5 years of experience
- Maximum equivalent experience for SPED Certifications is no more than 5 years
- Bachelor's degree in a related area OR Associate's degree in a related area + 2 years' experience OR equivalent experience (4 years)
- Must complete the DoD SAPCO approved SAPNP training (if performing personnel security functions)
- Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
- Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information
- Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph
- Ability to manage stress with a high degree of maturity/professionalism
- Demonstrated critical thinking and leadership skills and the ability to work well with others
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- All Level I & Level II positions - candidate should possess some Special Access Program (SAP) experience
- All Level III positions -candidate should possess 2+ years of Special Access Program (SAP) experience
- Reports to a physical location which occasionally requires the ability to traverse between buildings
- May require sedentary work at least 50% of the time
