Asphalt Paving Operator

As a Paving Operator at Fulton Hogan, operate asphalt paving machinery (asphalt pavers, skid steers) on road and car park surfacing projects from Palmerston North, NZ. Responsibilities include operating equipment, attending pre-start meetings, understanding hazards and health & safety risks, performing general labourer duties as needed to meet project timeframes, and collaborating with paving team members (labourers, forepersons, site supervisors). Must have paving experience, a Full Class 1 license with WTR endorsements (Class 2 is an advantage), mechanical aptitude, and ownership toward maintenance and care of machinery. Emphasis on customer focus, punctual timekeeping, and contributing to ongoing training and career growth.
