Job Summary
Asphalt labor and equipment crew member for paving projects in the Huntsville/North Alabama area, performing roles such as milling machine operator, paver operator, screed & roller operator, asphalt raker (lute), power broom operator, skid steer operator, flagger, and shovel; includes traffic control duties, servicing and basic maintenance of equipment, and daily pre- and post-inspections with proper documentation. Must follow safety and company policies, work outdoors in varying weather, and be capable of lifting heavy objects; overtime and weekend work may be required; CDL drivers may be involved for certain tasks; position is full-time with day shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years asphalt paving experience
- 1 year of asphalt lute/rake preferred
- Experience with road construction in high traffic areas
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Safety and regulatory compliance (OSHA/MSHA)
- CDL required for some roles
- Valid driver's license
