Asphalt Paver Operator

Operate an asphalt paver machine to spread and level hot mix asphalt on roadways, parking lots, and other surfaces. Control speed, material flow, and screed settings to ensure proper thickness, width, and grade while coordinating with truck drivers, roller operators, and ground crew. Monitor asphalt temperature and surface appearance, perform daily equipment inspections, and conduct minor maintenance. Follow project specifications and blueprints to maintain accurate alignment, maintain communication with the Foreman, and keep equipment clean at shift end. Work in the Excavation Department at the South Plainfield, NJ office.
