Job Summary
Operate heavy equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, and loaders, to move materials, earth, and other heavy objects on construction projects. Ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest level of quality while maintaining equipment and performing basic repairs as needed. Communicate regularly with crew members and subcontractors to align on project schedules and deadlines, identifying and resolving issues that arise during construction. Maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure projects meet quality standards and budget constraints.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience operating heavy equipment
- Experience in a construction setting

- Vocational training in heavy equipment operation
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Strong communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience with government contracts and compliance
