Job Summary
Asphalt Maintenance & Sealcoat Technician responsible for preparing surfaces, applying sealcoat materials, and performing crack filling and patching on asphalt to extend pavement life. Requires operating and maintaining equipment such as power brooms, crack filling machines, and sealcoat sprayers, inspecting completed work for quality, communicating progress and needs to supervisors/clients, and adhering to safety and environmental regulations. Must perform manual labor outdoors, lift heavy materials, and work effectively in a team with strong communication skills. Prior experience in asphalt maintenance and a valid driver’s license are preferred; certification or specialized training is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in asphalt maintenance, sealcoating, or related construction work
- Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in various weather conditions
