Job Summary
Asphalt Groundperson responsible for plant maintenance and safe, efficient operation at Chalfont Quarry. Perform work in accordance with MSHA and H&K safety policies, maintain clean work areas, learn plant functions, and support team efforts by cross-training to cover multiple plant roles. Emphasizes safety, teamwork, and ongoing training to contribute to quarry operations and product delivery.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) or related experience and/or training
- A combination of education and experience may be considered
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Ability to fit test and utilize appropriate PPE as needed
- Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)
- Experience operating heavy equipment (preferred)
- Experience working in a quarry, heavy civil construction, or outdoor industrial setting (preferred)
- MSHA or other relevant safety certification (preferred)
