Job Summary

Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of the Advanced Special Operations Techniques Management Course (ASOTMC), synchronizing training schedules, personnel, facilities, and equipment for successful delivery. Deliver classroom instruction, facilitate practical exercises, and mentor students while developing lesson plans, Programs of Instruction, and instructional materials. Coordinate with Government leadership and training staff to ensure mission objectives are achieved, monitor student progress, and conduct After Action Reviews to recommend improvements. Maintain course documentation, ensure compliance with safety and security requirements, and support curriculum modernization. Requires U.S. citizenship, Active TS/SCI clearance, and ASOTC graduation.

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance
  • Graduate of the Nonofficial Cover and Identity Program (NICP) Course
  • Graduate of the Advanced Special Operations Techniques Course (ASOTC)
  • Demonstrated Battalion-level management or leadership experience
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience coordinating operations, military training programs, or mission support activities
  • Strong knowledge of Special Operations planning, operational coordination, and training management
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to provide classroom instruction and administrative oversight for extended periods
  • Ability to support field training activities as required
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry training equipment
  • Ability to travel in support of mission and training requirements
  • Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and non-standard schedules when required to support Government mission needs

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous instructor or coordinator experience supporting the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School (USAJFKSWCS), U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), or other USSOCOM organizations
  • Experience managing complex military training programs involving multiple stakeholders
  • Experience developing military curriculum, Programs of Instruction (POIs), lesson plans, and training documentation
  • Ten (10) or more years of Special Operations Forces (SOF) experience
  • Experience supervising military, civilian, and contractor personnel
  • Familiarity with TRADOC instructional methodology and adult learning principles
