ASOT Intermediate Instructor

Job Summary
Deliver classroom instruction and facilitate practical exercises for Advanced Special Operations Techniques (ASOT) Intermediate and Sustainment training events. Plan, coordinate, and execute training while evaluating individual and unit performance to ensure alignment with evolving mission requirements and USSOCOM doctrine. Develop instructional materials, integrate operational lessons learned, and conduct After Action Reviews to improve training effectiveness. Provide professional coaching and mentoring to students and support the development of military, civilian, and contractor instructors. Coordinate training requirements with Government leadership and maintain subject matter expertise through continuous professional development. Support temporary duty travel as required to meet mission objectives.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen
- Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance
- Graduate of the Advanced Special Operations Techniques Course (ASOTC)
- Demonstrated experience conducting Advanced Special Operations Techniques (ASOT) Intermediate/Sustainment (I/S) training for operational units within the past twelve (12) months
- Proven experience planning, coordinating, and executing sustainment training supporting Special Operations Forces readiness
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience managing or supervising a contract, training program, or mission of similar size, scope, and complexity supporting military or Special Operations training
- Thorough knowledge of Special Operations tactics, techniques, procedures, and current USSOCOM doctrine
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively instruct, mentor, and evaluate personnel
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to provide classroom instruction for extended periods
- Ability to support field training exercises in austere environments
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry training equipment as required
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and travel in support of training events
- Ability to perform duties in varying environmental conditions, including heat, cold, and rugged terrain
Desired Qualifications
- Previous instructor experience supporting the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School (USAJFKSWCS), U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), or other USSOCOM organizations
- Experience developing military curriculum, Programs of Instruction (POIs), lesson plans, and training support packages
- Experience conducting operational assessments and After-Action Reviews for Special Operations units
- Ten (10) or more years of Special Operations Forces (SOF) experience
- Previous experience mentoring military, civilian, or contractor instructors
