Job Summary
Asociate Security Supervisor in North Guadalajara to ensure a safe work environment for operations. The role involves supporting security operations with asset security, monitoring security systems (CCTV, access control, intrusion alarms), and implementing security measures. Key responsibilities include coordinating suppliers, audits, investigations, and security-related projects; leveraging knowledge of network infrastructure related to security systems; applying basic to intermediate programming and troubleshooting skills for security platforms, automation, or system integrations; and applying familiarity with Quality Management Systems and continuous improvement methodologies. Desired certifications similar to ISO 27001, CTPAT, TAPA, ISO 9001 are a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office are required; English language skills are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Industrial Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related)
- Experience performing asset security roles in manufacturing or corporate facilities
- Knowledge of CCTV, access control systems, intrusion alarms, and related electronic equipment
- Experience with network infrastructure related to security systems
- Basic to intermediate programming and troubleshooting skills for security platforms, automation, or system integrations
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and continuous improvement methodologies
- Familiarity with security certifications/standards (ISO 27001, CTPAT, TAPA, ISO 9001 or similar) is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience coordinating suppliers, audits, investigations, and security-related projects
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- English conversational is a plus
