Job Summary
Weld and fabricate tanks and components to ASME Section VIII Division 1 Code standards. Welding includes FCAW / GMAW, SAW, SMAW. Read and interpret manufacturing blueprints. Obtain company required certification within 60 days of hire. Safely operate equipment including overhead cranes. Comfortable using electric grinding equipment. Lift up to 60 lbs, climb ladders, work at heights up to 16 ft, and periodically work in confined spaces. Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers. Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Plant Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working under ASME codes and standards
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and schematics
- Ability to follow written instructions in English in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Ability to follow safety rules and regulations
- Ability to work overtime as needed
