Job Summary
Direct all business processes at the assigned store, including managing inventory, labor, and expenses to meet sales targets. Lead a team of approximately ten people, developing leadership behaviors and motivating department managers and receivers to deliver superior customer service. Oversee store operations in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring compliance with safety, food safety, and health standards through regular audits. Manage perishable and non-perishable departments by handling ordering, receiving, stocking, and rotating merchandise while maintaining top item conditions. Address emergencies, crises, and equipment failures with urgency, and resolve issues related to safety, security, and loss prevention.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years of age
- 1-3 years of retail experience
- Have and maintain Food Safety certification
- Able to lift 60 pounds between 15 inches and 70 inches above the ground
- Pushing and pulling racks and U-boats of merchandise is common throughout a typical day
- Push and pull force required ranges from 80 pounds to 100 pounds
- Stand on hard surfaces continuously
- Walk up to 2 miles
- Reach vertically to access upper levels
- Transfer items horizontally
- Wear PPE consistent with the task assignment
- Be flexible to work a schedule that changes based on business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
