Job Summary
ASL-speaking licensed mental health therapist needed to provide teletherapy to college students on a part-time 1099 basis. Responsibilities include managing an ongoing caseload from initial session to graduation, conducting video/phone/chat sessions, applying evidence-based practices and SMART goals, and delivering culturally competent care to diverse student populations. Must hold an independent State license in Massachusetts (e.g., LMHC, LICSW, LMFT, or PsyD), have a Master’s degree, at least 2 years of telehealth therapy experience, and HIPAA-compliant, private space. Sessions may be conducted via Zoom with a camera and microphone; role requires bilingual ASL proficiency, risk assessment capability, timely session notes, and responsive messaging. Required Qualifications
- Bilingual and able to provide sessions in American Sign Language (ASL)
- An independent license to practice mental health therapy without supervision in Massachusetts. (Ex. LMHC, LICSW, LMFT or PsyD)
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- 2 years of experience providing therapy in a telehealth setting using a variety of modalities.
- Professional liability insurance.
- HIPAA compliant professional and secure location to perform sessions.
- Ability to provide sessions via Zoom on a computer or device that has a camera and microphone.
