Job Summary
ASL KidStrong Coach- Saturday mornings 8-10am in Everett, WA. The role can actively coach or provide ASL interpreter services during the 3-year-old class, guiding effective communication accommodations for preschool-aged children and engaging with parents. Requires ASL proficiency and interpreter qualifications, CPR certification, and knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics. Must be energetic, self-motivated, and able to work with a professional team to advance the KidStrong curriculum that focuses on brain, physical, and character development. Responsibilities include coaching students, educating parents on the curriculum, and delivering positive interpersonal interactions with children and families.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified sign language interpreter or extensive ASL knowledge for preschool aged children
- Experience coaching students within the appropriate KidStrong age
- Experience talking to and educating parents on our curriculum
- CPR certified
- Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
- Self-starter that just gets a job done
