Job Summary
ASL Interpreting Scheduling Coordinator responsible for answering phones, taking client requests, data entry of appointment information, providing phone-based customer service to clients, vendors, and interpreters, scheduling same-day and future ASL requests, communicating with interpreters about available slots, sending confirmations and appointment information via email/phone, updating interpreter/client data in LTC’s database, ensuring language access is provided, and building strong relationships with interpreters and clients to deliver exceptional customer service.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of education, training, or professional work with ASL and/or deaf community
- 2+ years of customer experience focused on telephone customer service
- Passionate about providing language access

- 2+ years of education, training, or professional work with ASL and/or deaf community
- 2+ years of customer experience focused on telephone customer service

- 1-2 years of professional interpretation experience
- Experience working with a language agency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Ability to learn new systems and programs quickly
- Degree preferred
