Job Summary
Compile and consolidate data from monitoring systems, government institutions, and specialized agencies to support early warning analysis and action planning. Manage the early warning information base, update local actor databases, and track hydrological bulletins and institutional alerts to develop key messages for impact zones. Lead information quality and security protocols, validate event documentation, and moderate communications per the CuéntaNos platform manual. Produce editorial content, infographics, and social media posts for beneficiaries and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with humanitarian principles and gender equality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Professional areas such as journalism, communication studies, psychology, social sciences and related fields
- 3 to 5 years of work experience in the field of communications with an emphasis on information management with social programs or projects
- Knowledge and skills for graphic design
- Understanding of humanitarian principles and programming for populations affected by violence
- Knowledge of the rights-based approach, gender and intersectionality
- Knowledge of CRM platforms and content management
- Demonstrated experience in writing and editing news articles in print media
- Impeccable command of Spanish writing and spelling rules
- Knowledge of communication for development approaches for information management
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, creativity and flexibility
- Reporting to the Project Manager
