Job Summary
Lead procurement of cross-border drayage and carrier capacity across Mexico-US corridors; develop category strategy, manage provider relationships, negotiate rates and service terms, and ensure compliance (CTPAT, DOT/MC authority, SCT) while tracking market intelligence and cost leadership. Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Operations for faster, better decisions; requires 3-6 years in cross-border freight procurement with established cross-border carrier relationships; bilingual Spanish and English; Monterrey-based with close access to carriers and leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 6 years in cross-border freight procurement, carrier management, or logistics commercial roles with direct and demonstrable experience in the Mexico-US cross-border market
- Established relationships with cross-border carriers and providers operating on key Mexico-US corridors
- Proven negotiation experience with transportation providers, including ability to challenge rates, apply market pressure, and secure capacity under competitive conditions
- Strong analytical and data skills, with ability to build rate benchmarks, interpret market data, and present commercial analysis clearly and independently
- Bilingual Spanish and English required
