ASIC Design Hardware Engineer - SDC/STA (Hybrid)

$165,000–$241,400 year

On-siteSan Jose, California, United States

Full TimeEnterprise

Job Summary

Develop timing constraints at block and full-chip levels using industry-standard SDC/STA tools, validating them with TCM and Timevision before physical design closure. Collaborate with front-end and back-end teams to refine architecture and timing constraints, ensuring seamless design closure across multiple timing modes. Contribute to developing efficient methodologies that promote block-level SDCs to full-chip and push down full-chip constraints to blocks, while reviewing clocking diagrams and assisting RTL design owners. Optionally support block-level RTL design or top-level IP integration to ensure correctness and quality early in the design cycle. Join the Cisco Silicon One team to develop a unified silicon architecture for web scale and service provider networks, working within a global team that drives innovation in silicon, optics, and hardware platforms.
