Job Summary
Design, develop, implement, and verify hardware modules for the ARTPEC SoC chip, integrating IP blocks and leveraging 3rd party assets like ARM and Synopsys. Apply low-power design techniques and manage clock/reset domain crossing while utilizing HDLs, scripting languages, and EDA tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, share knowledge, and investigate new methodologies for continuous improvement within the AXIS ASIC Department.
Required Qualifications
- Proven expertise as a skilled engineer with a passion for advanced ASIC development
- Experience in digital ASIC design
- Proficiency in HDLs (SystemVerilog)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python/TCL)
- Proficiency in EDA tools (e.g., Synopsys/Cadence/Siemens EDA)
- Strong understanding of digital logic design principles
- Strong understanding of microarchitecture
- Strong understanding of computer architecture
- Experience with ASIC design flows
- Familiarity with low-power design techniques
- Familiarity with clock/reset domain crossing
- Familiarity with synchronization methods
- Experience with integrate IP blocks into a robust system architecture
- Experience with 3rd party IPs, e.g. ARM, Synopsys and Cadence
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to share knowledge and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including seniors and juniors, to drive innovation and growth
- Strong commitment to continuous learning and improvement
- Proactive approach to driving technical advancements and methodology enhancements within the team
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, engineering physics or similar
